The Wilson-Vaughan Historic Hostess House
Why is preserving the Historic Hostess House important:
1. This National Registry building represents a gathering place and cultural center for local residents and a tourist destination.
2. The Hostess House has architectural richness which is no longer attainable.
3. We need to do whatever we can to keep this local landmark as a living part of our community.

The Hostess House is a [501-3] non-profit corporation. Donations are tax deductible.
Our county is truly blessed to have a gathering place as wonderful as the Wilson-Vaughan Hostess House. We are fortunate to have such a locale where both county residents and our-of-town patrons can enjoy it's beauty and historical significance. The Hostess House is a National and State Historic Landmark, which is completely sustained by patrons of the community. The house is one of the few places in the county to host both public and private events in an elegant and enjoyable setting.
The volunteer board of the Hostess House works very hard all year maintaining the house. However, we can't do it alone. We need your support. The Hostess House receives no tax money towards its maintenance and restoration. Your membership/sponsorship and donations is used to pay any needs for the house. Donations to the house are tax deductible. Our sponsorships are as follows:
Single/Family Membership $50.00
Bronze Sponsorship $100.00
Silver Sponsorship $250.00
Gold Sponsorship $500.00
Platinum Sponsorship $1000.00
We save buildings because they stir us. They're inspiring examples of art and spirit, ingenuity, and craft. They heighten our sense of place and connect us through the generations. They help us remember what's important in our lives. That is why we THANK YOU for your support in the past and for your continued support. For WITHOUT YOU, there would be no Hostess House.
